Rich plum flavor and clear taste
Banzairaku has been brewing this plum wine since 1990, which combines a rich plum flavor with a clear mouthfeel. It is made using simple, traditional methods using only Benisashiume plums from the Hokuriku region, which are rich in amino acids and minerals. All processes, from growing the plums to pickling and bottling, are carried out in the favorable environment of the Hokuriku region, and the plums are aged for approximately two years until they are at their most delicious and well-balanced in aroma and flavor.
Award recognition: Having won first place in the Nikkei Plum Wine Awards, and having been the special wine for the 2013 Nobel Prize Dinner, these accolades are all proof of the high quality and recognition of this plum wine.Home-grown base sake: The base sake is Banzaira's home-grown sake. The brewery has a wealth of experience and expertise in the sake brewing process, and the high-quality sake base provides a solid foundation for the quality of the plum wine.
