The Takagi Sake Brewery was founded in 1615 and is one of the oldest breweries in Japan with a history of more than 400 years up to the present day. The brewery is located in Murayama City, Yamagata Prefecture, which is famous for its Sato Nishiki cherries, and is blessed with good water, which is reflected in the taste of the sake in Jyushiyo.
