The Friars
Lugana Doc
It is our pride, the wine that made us known and continues to be the image of the company. It has a direct line with its variety, Turbiana, our native vine. Designed to be consumed in the vintage, it expresses the best part of itself many years after bottling. In its youth it is fresh, linear and endowed with great finesse and elegance with delicate notes of white flowers, balsamic notes and hints of apricot. Time allows it to evolve expressing with greater determination the mineral notes thus acquiring its complexity with hints of iodine, spices and candied fruit. In the mouth it is able to envelop the entire palate thanks to an important savoury essence accompanied by lively and exuberant acidity. In its youth it is best served at a temperature of around 10 degrees, with cold or warm but delicate appetizers and accompanies fish dishes whether boiled, steamed or grilled.
