Founded in 1883. It is located near Kujukuri-hama beach and brews pure rice sake and unfiltered sake. The name "Kangiku" in the company name is derived from the winter chrysanthemum, a small but dignified flower that blooms in winter, and from our desire to brew dignified sake despite being a small brewery. We are committed to our philosophy of "making sake that fills the hearts of those who drink it," and we are making daily progress with our independent and energetic "Team Shangiku" so that our sake can add a little more color to the lives of those who drink it.
