About This Sake
This is a locally-only sake brewed by Takagi Sake Brewery in Murayama City, Yamagata Prefecture, known for its "Juyondai." While "Juyondai," which has become synonymous with hard-to-obtain sake, is not available locally, "Asahi Taka" is almost always available only in the brewery's home town. It has long been a popular evening drink in the local area, but some say that the quality of the sake has improved with the introduction of "Juyondai."

Takagi Sake Brewery
It suddenly appeared in the Heisei era and became an undisputed popular brand. It is well known that it still has not lost its luster and reigns as a famous sake that everyone admires. Drinkers were overwhelmed by the fresh taste with a gorgeous aroma that felt completely different from other sakes when it was first released, but they were also surprised by the cost performance, especially with "Honmaru". The brewers themselves are in charge of brewing, and they started a trend of brewery master brewers who are in charge of everything from designing the concept and quality of the sake to branding. It can also be said that the trend of fresh and impactful "unfiltered raw sake" started with this sake. In that sense, it is a famous sake that symbolizes the Heisei era, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is a pioneer that opened up a new era in various elements such as sake quality, brewers, and brands. Yamagata has long been a place where breweries independently develop sake rice, and this brewery has had a variety called "Ryu no Otoshiko" since the time of the previous president. Recently, they have produced "Sake Mirai" and are supplying it to sake breweries all over the country.
